Your role:
Administer and optimise Atlassian products (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) across multiple teams.
Customise Jira workflows, queues, schemes, and Confluence spaces to align with business processes.
Develop automation scripts using Jira REST API and Python to streamline tasks and create custom KPIs.
Collaborate with teams to set up new Jira projects and audit existing configurations for optimisation.
Manage and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) extracted from Jira to track performance and improve processes.
Provide technical support, user training, and maintain documentation for all configurations and workflows.
Assist with broader IT automation tasks as part of the DevOps team.
Stay updated on Atlassian product releases and implement industry best practices for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience administering Atlassian products (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence).
Proficiency in Jira REST API and Python for automation, scripting, and dashboard creation.
Strong understanding of Jira customizations (workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions).
Experience with Agile, ITSM, or ESM methodologies and their implementation in Jira.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and Jira integrations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
Background in DevOps, IT, or software development is preferred.
