Your role: 

• Implement and maintain security measures within a DevOps environment.
• Implement security controls such as firewalls, access controls, and encryption technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Monitor security systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Participate in incident response and support teams in applying corrective actions.
• Stay informed of the latest security trends, tools, and technologies.
• Provide security guidance and support across teams to ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in any engineering major.
• Eagerness to learn and understand security technologies such as firewalls, access controls, SSL/TLS, SSH, and IPSec.
• Understanding of DevOps principles, including agile development and continuous delivery.
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10, PCI DSS).
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with security tools such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools.
• Experience with secure coding practices (input validation, output encoding).
• Basic knowledge of security incident response, including identifying and mitigating security incidents.
• EU/EFTA citizens OR holders of a Cyprus work permit OR foreign nationals married to an EU citizen.
