We are looking for DevOps Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work for an award-winning Forex company. Hybrid model of work in Larnaca, Cyprus!

  • 3 days on site
  • 2 days remote

The Role:

  • Assisting in managing CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments.
  • Learning and working with monitoring tools to track application health and performance.
  • Supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) development using Terraform and other tools.
  • Troubleshooting system issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Collaborating with teams to improve deployment processes and minimise downtime.
  • Expanding your expertise in cloud platforms and DevOps best practices.
  • Assisting in building automation tools for system monitoring and logging.
  • Participating in on-call rotations to gain hands-on experience in incident management.
  • Contributing to performance optimisations and scalability improvements.
  • Documenting processes and best practices to improve team efficiency.

Requirements:

  • BA/BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Basic experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
  • Understanding of system monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of site reliability engineering.
  • Familiarity with Linux system administration and scripting languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work in a team-driven environment.
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack.
  • Interest in working with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of basic networking principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Desire to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging DevOps trends.
