Responsibilities:

  • Steer a high-performing frontend team, ensuring the optimal blend of skills and knowledge.
  • Manage direct reports, overseeing performance, job satisfaction, and career development.
  • Drive the team's delivery commitments, balancing time and quality to meet production goals.
  • Champion a culture of accountability and quality product delivery within the team.
  • Uphold technical excellence, focusing on system reliability and uptime.
  • Liaise with technical leadership to align architectural direction and operational methodologies.
  • Facilitate team discussions and conflict resolution, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Streamline team processes, encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Navigate team impediments, ensuring swift resolution or escalation.
  • Act as a communication nexus for the team, coordinating with cross-functional units.
  • Administer and delegate team tasks efficiently, maintaining clear role definitions.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven software engineering expertise, specifically in web applications.
  • A track record of effective coaching and people development.
  • Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and Web Markup (CSS3/HTML5).
  • Familiarity with Observable technologies, RxJS preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale applications, including architectural and modular approaches.
  • Expertise in agile development practices, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferable: Experience as an Agile Lead/Scrum Master/Team Lead, understanding of web component frameworks, and experience with Angular 2+.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to distributed team dynamics.
  • Background in the gaming industry is advantageous.
  • Inspirational leadership qualities, underpinned by humility and a collaborative spirit.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a results-driven approach.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of addressing technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in English.
