We are looking for Mid DevOps Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work for an award-winning Forex company. Hybrid model of work in Athens, Greece!

  • 3 days on-site in Neo Psichiko
  • 2 days remote

The Role:

  • Supporting the design and implementation of reliable and scalable systems.
  • Assisting in the development of automation tools for system monitoring and incident response.
  • Collaborating with development teams to enhance deployment and infrastructure processes.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Participating in on-call rotations to support production environments.
  • Expanding your expertise in cloud platforms and DevOps best practices.
  • Enhancing system observability with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
  • Improving incident management processes by conducting root cause analyses and developing preventive measures.
  • Supporting CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline software delivery.
  • Working on infrastructure automation projects to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of cloud environments and automation tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and incident response systems.
  • Working knowledge of scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack).
  • Basic familiarity with distributed systems, networking, and database reliability.
  • Eagerness to troubleshoot and optimise performance in complex environments.
  • Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices.
  • Experience working with Unix/Linux-based systems and automation.
