QA Automation Engineer for an award-winning company.

Our client is an award-winning, cloud-based booking and property management platform. They help independent accommodation providers showcase their properties, manage their reservations, and connect with guests. Its flagship product aims to provide hoteliers and hosts with a convenient all-in-one solution that makes it easy for them to manage online bookings, guests and travel agencies.

Today, their customer base consists of 30,000 small independent B&Bs, Guesthouses, Vacation Rental Owners and Hotels using their suite day-in day-out to run their business.

Role

  • You’re passionate about writing robust, valuable and maintainable BDD automation tests - The client follows the TDD model during project delivery.
  • You'll be a member of the QA Tribe with shared responsibility for driving improvements of quality assurance practices across the R&D team.
  • You’ll have to ensure a good test coverage, recognize, implement and end test across our various systems.
  • You’re able to solve complex problems to progress automation agenda

Requirements

  • Preferred to have a degree in computer science or a numerate subject
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in testing with 3 years’ experience in automation testing
  • Automation experience with .NET, Specflow, Selenium test creation and execution
  • Experience with SQL, Rest API, Insomnia (or equivalent)
  • Deep understanding of various functional testing types (e.g Regression, Integration, API,UI etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes in an agile environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Experience in mobile application testing is a plus
  • Travel & Tourism experience will be highly regarded, as will software as a service environments or experience working on high load ecommerce or transactional processing systems
  • Must be eligible to work in Spain
