Senior Core DevOps Engineer - work for an award-winning Forex company in Cyprus!

Your role:
Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and performance of HFM's IT systems and applications.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement systems that meet reliability and performance goals.
Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to swiftly resolve issues.
Create automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 production support.
Share best practices, tools, and guidance with other engineers across the organisation.
Requirements:
BSc/BA in any engineering major.
In-depth experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), and caching systems (Redis, Memcache).
Expertise in web servers such as Nginx, Apache, and Traefik.
Strong Python programming skills.
Hands-on experience with cloud environments like AWS and Google Cloud.
Familiarity with web application development and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab Runners, Spinnaker).
Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration.
Hands-on experience with container-based infrastructures, specifically Docker.
EU/EFTA citizens OR holders of a Cyprus work permit OR foreign nationals married to an EU citizen.
