About the Role:

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our products. You will work closely with development teams to create comprehensive test plans, execute test cases, and automate testing processes. Your contributions will be key to delivering reliable, scalable, and flawless applications that delight users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
  • Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts using Java and industry-standard automation frameworks.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.
  • Identify and report software defects with clear and detailed documentation.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and test automation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on Java with a solid track record of developing automated testing frameworks, particularly for API testing.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Playwright) and programming in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and debugging.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of build tools such as Maven/Gradle and web frameworks like Micronaut/Spring Boot/Quarkus.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, TypeScript, Angular, or React) is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is considered an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Previous experience as a Developer is a strong plus.
  • Online gaming experience is a strong plus.
