Reykjavik, located on the southwestern coast of Iceland, is Iceland’s capital and largest city, and also the most northern capital in the world. Even though its small size, Reykjavik is a vivid city with loads to see and do. There are modern museums, a variety of fun night clubs and bars and of course there is always the chance to take a dip in the geothermal pools in the area. Swimming is a national pastime in Iceland and once there, one should experience it! There is something to do for all seasons and it is easy to get anywhere due to the short distances. Most of the jobs in the country are located in Reykjavik where most of the Icelandic population live. However, a lot of the jobs for example in the tourism sector, can be found in many parts of the country.
