Remote from Spain – Front-end (Angular) Lead to the world's leading professional services company

As a Front-end Tech Lead, you will help the Front-end Technology Product Owner with the maintenance and development of new projects related to ecommerce. You will get an opportunity to understand the client business requirements and contribute to the design, concentrate on the pure technical solution, learn new technologies, implement App development, and work in agile environment. You will become an active member of the Dev team that works closely with other disciplines/roles. You are a T-shaped professional and responsible for the whole life cycle (i.e. development, operations) of in-house or packaged applications according to development/test standards and corporate architecture policies including security and data privacy guidelines.

 

Requirements

  • Experience working with the Angular JS framework.
  • Expertise in Web development using Angular (or other MVC frameworks), JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, front-end JS Frameworks and HTML.
  • Experience in Test Driven Development.
  • Experience designing, building and maintaining high performance, reusable and reliable JavaScript code.
  • Experience building and consuming REST API.
  • Proficient in Fully Responsive Web Applications.
  • Experience writing code that interacts with a large, complex backend through RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience developing scalable, fully responsive UI Applications with Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Ideally, you should have experience developing ecommerce systems with SAP Spartacus and experience using build tools, using debugging tools like ChromeDevTools/Firebug, and using version Control Systems like Git/bitbucket.
  • Strong Spanish and English communication skills
  • Experience working with different digital agencies, software vendors, and consulting environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address front-end performance and accessibility issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science
