Job description

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards by writing documentation, collaborating with technical teams, creating test scenarios and plans, and implementing automated tests.

Our client, founded in 2018, is one of the fastest-growing B2B service providers based in Cyprus. They develop, maintain and deploy various IT and customer based services to numerous businesses in various industries around the world.

Responsibilities:

1.Product Quality Assurance

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive testing to ensure the product meets the specified quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues found during testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve identified issues and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of the product.

2.Documentation

  • Create and maintain clear and concise documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Document software defects and track their resolution progress.
  • Update and improve existing documentation based on product updates and changes.

3.Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support personnel, to understand product requirements and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure effective test coverage and alignment with development goals.
  • Provide regular updates on the testing progress, test results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

4.Test Scenario and Test Plan Creation

  • Develop comprehensive test scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Create detailed test plans outlining the testing approach, test coverage, and test environment requirements.
  • Continuously refine and enhance test scenarios and plans based on feedback and evolving product features.

5.Automated Testing

  • Design and implement automated tests to improve efficiency and accuracy of the testing process.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify areas for test automation and create test scripts.
  • Execute and maintain automated test suites, analyze test results, and report any issues or failures.

 

Experience and qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Solid experience in creating test scenarios, test plans, and test cases.
  • Proficiency in writing clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and scripting for test automation.
  • Experience testing authentication protocols, encryption or anti-fraud is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Salary: 30-45.000 EUR Gross Per Year / Experience Depending
