Job description

The client is a leading B2B service provider based in Cyprus, specializing in developing, maintaining and deploying various IT and customer-based services to numerous businesses in around the world. They are passionate about innovation, quality, and creating engaging, user-friendly platforms. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Technical Writer / Support Documentation Specialist to join their dynamic team.

They are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Writer with experience in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality support documentation, user guides, and technical manuals for our digital products. You will work closely with our development, product, and support teams to ensure that all documentation is accurate, easy to understand, and aligns with our company standards. This role offers flexibility with hybrid work and the potential for relocation to our offices in Cyprus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Create clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation, user guides, and manuals for our software products and services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and support teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain and update existing documentation as new features are developed or changes are made to our platforms.
  • Assist in the creation of support documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to improve the user experience.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, language, and formatting across all technical documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools to continuously improve documentation quality and processes.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Support Documentation Specialist, or in a related role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them in simple, concise language.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with developers, product managers, and support teams to gather information and clarify details.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

 

 

Nice to Have:

 

  • Experience in writing API documentation or technical guides for software developers.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) or knowledge of software development practices.
  • Previous experience working in a remote team environment.
